Hi all, have 2 isticks (30w) now both not working ....only bought last one few wks ago..threads seem to be gone in both..despite being careful etc., anyone know if the Istick bender will fix this....or can anyone recommend something else...thought they were great in the beginning now not too sure...(using natulius mini).

Questin 2; looking for something else for nights out etc: (saw here abt vision spinner).....

i just want something easy maintain.

Basically what am looking for is something for home use N then something not complicated for nights out.

    Thanks

You sure they are the 30w, I never heard problems with the 30w threads.
The 20w threads were soft as butter though.

Yeah apparently they sorted the thread issue for the 30w, I don't have one so cannot confirm, but that seems to be the popular knowledge.

I have a 30w and can say I've had no problem with the threading and read stuff from eleaf promoting the 30w as having improved, hardwearing stainless steel threads.

The threads on my istick 20w went spectacularly tits up very quickly. Its no consolation to me that they brought out a new version. I went with a Coupour mini 30w as the replacement.

This adaptor works and IMO looks great on the istick 20W

Have a 20w, 30w and a cloupor mini. I retired the cloupor after the initial spate of reports of it melting, although I may dust it off again. My 20w iStick is still going strong, threads are fine. 30w is the first go to, when the battery dies on that, I grab the 20w to tied me over. I must say, I've never had any problems with threading on any of them. I must be lucky.

Same here,I have 6 istick 20w from the first day they were available & all are still like new,no issues.

Have done the safety test on the cloupor mini?
Its easy to find out if you have a dud (only one early batch had issues).
I have four of them, one bought here and three from fasttech, all are perfect.
I don't use the usb to charge them though.

Anyway the safety test is this:
Attach an old coil head in an atomiser, you can fil it if you want, water even.
Its (the coil head) probably going in the bin after this test.
Set the CM to 30w and hold down the fire button.
The device should auto cut out after 15 seconds, if it does you're good.
If it doesn't then its most likely a bad chip, one of the ones that could atuo fire, over heat and well, bad things.

I was thinking of buying one of these because I was worried about the threads wearing out with the amount of unscrewing you have to do to refill the tank, but I didn't really like the look of it, then I discovered the ego adapter which sort of passed me buy when I first opened the box, and experimented with putting the Nautilus beauty ring on there and the whole set up now looks more attractive and is more pleasant to hold in the hand. If the thread eventually wears out on the adapter it'll be a lot cheaper to replace that then getting a new iStick.
