Tipp v Limerick tickets Sunday

Anyone think €30 for a stand ticket is a bit pricey? Well I guess not as there are no stand tickets on sale for Sunday! Leinster tickets are €25.

Would I get one on Sunday and where's a good place to wait for spare tickets? I've never been to Gaelic Grounds.

Or if I went to terrace is the view good, and is there a particular end the Tipp supporters would be at?

Also what is parking like in Limerick?

    thanks folks!

Bit pricey perhaps, but people were always going to pay it. People who haven't been to matches in years are going to it, people are very hyped for a home game again. Obviously there was a lot of hype in 2013, but this is our first home Championship game since then and people now expect us to win matches which was not the case for a long time in the 2000s.

I think the terraces are much better than the stands personally. There's a nice incline, so the view is pretty decent. The uncovered stand is good, especially on a sunny day but the Mackey is a horrible kip of a stand. Tipp fans will be in the Clare End and I'd probably just get tickets there rather than trying to get stand tickets off a tout or whatever.

Parking can be a bit of hassle, I imagine the crowd is going to be huge, so there will be cars dumped all over the shop. For a smaller attendance, we'd park in Dunnes right beside the ground but you're unlikely to be able to get out of there for a big match. I'd nearly recommend leaving the car in town and walking in... it is a 20-minute walk or so but on Championship day, at least the atmosphere will be good. Depends how much of a hurry you'll be in to get home.
