At my 5 month scan today they spotted a space around the babies heart that could be this. The midwife says chances are small but I'm still stressing. I've to go for a second follow up appt. has anyone had any experience with this before?

No experience of this specific problem but I have a daughter with a heart condition and the paed cardiologists and paed cardiothoracic surgeons in this country are the bee's knee's so try not to worry too much.

    Definitely!

I have a little girl who was diagnosed with a heart condition when she was three years old, it was there since birth but she was so well nobody noticed it until then! She's going perfectly well now.

I hope everything is ok, if it isn't, let me know there's an awesome support group on FB for parents of children with heart problems.

My consultant is away until tomorrow but he's a specialist in fetal cardiology so hopefully he can fill me in more.
Thanks for the advice/support - I'll let you know how we go.
