Trying to get my wife tickets for Taylor Swift for her birthday. Just wondering is there any way of ensuring they are genuine?

well don't except one that have been printed off an email for a start

I really do worry about the fact that there are so many for sale- there can't be that many that genuinely bought them and have some reason now that they cannot go. Best avoided I'd say

But even if they have a hard copy can they just cancel it and re issue it?

I have heard stories about people selling, then claiming they were lost and getting the money back then the tickets are cancelled when you arrive. I would have no faith in second hand tickets I'm afraid but I could be wrong

Did I read a thread about payPal only releasing monies after 30 days or something so look out for anyone willing to deal through there, I see some on DD advertising but I can't open in work

I bought a few tickets over the years on adverts/donedeal with no issue.

When dealing with the seller I ask to collect the ticket from their home address and from them in person. I also tell them that I will want to see their ID when I am collecting.
A scammer will not agree to this, but kosher seller will...at least that is my experience and it has worked for me so far.

if you can, buy of adverts.ie, as you can look at the feedback people have left for the buyer in the past. if the account has loads of positive feedback you should be ok.

I would recommend toutless too. There was a recent thread asking a similar question. I posted some advice in post 5
