Corolla efi fuse blowing

Hey guys having a problem with my car when I'm driving that efi fuse will blow. Blown 3 times now. Twice on its own and third I blew it on purpose to test a theory. It won't blow unless the accelerator is to the floor and it's doing 120kph.
Any ideas on what is causing it. Car feels sluggish too. It's a corolla hatchback. Year 99. 1.3 model. Any help would be appreciated

Have you had codes read?

Not yet. Have a machanic looking at it tomorrow. Sumit else I've noticed the engine sounds jumpy just ticking over when idle.

Could be tricky, 15A fuse feeds the engine control relay, fuel pump, idle control valve, o2 sensor heater, also supplies a feed to the ECU so there's a multitude of possibilities.

It could be any of those components or their circuits or even the ecu itself although unlikely.

He may be lucky and spot something obvious otherwise it may take a bit of time.
Seen as how it only blows at high demand fuel pump may be a good place to start.

Stationary and flooring the accelerator, you will blow more than the fuse!

Wasn't stationary when I floored it.

4EFE has no OBD2. Older system. Anyone can read it using just a piece of wire.

Rough idle is usually caused by dirty ISC valve.

Back to OP: Fuel pump tripping or lambda sensor wires touching exhaust. A few less likely things as well, but first things first.

done that there. got a code 21 that was the only that came up. something to do with the oxygen sensor.

think its more than a rough idle. ya can feel the engine shaking while in the car when idle

Code 21 refers to the heater circuit for the O2 sensor. As advised already, take a look at the wiring going to the sensor especially around the exhaust area.

UPDATE.

We cut out the burnt wires and replaced them. Tried the fault code see was it still showing. It gone. Drove it car. It's a1 again. Running perfectly. Thanks for the help ☺
