    Anyone of of good deals on SSD. Looking for something around 250GB but 128GB if unable to get bigger at a good price. Trying to speed up a laptop for home that is very slow.

    try hardwareversand.de 250gb is about 80 euros if you find the one you want and search for it on geizhals.de then follow the link back to hardwareversand.

    That price is for a crucial one. The samsungs or intels are a bit more expensive.

    Also what is the ram like in the machine? Have you checked it for viruses? A ram upgrade and deep clean could do it the world of good.

    Upgrade the RAM to maximum of 4GB already. Did not make much of a difference. The processor is crap though so even upgrading the HDD might not make much of a difference. Do not want to buy another one though as I have ipads and work laptops.

    dont wast yer moey on SSD or RAM if CPU is rubbish.
