    What do you mean by "youtube editing", I presume you're doing video editing and then uploading to youtube?

    That machine is a very powerful machine, I would have to ask if it is way overkill for your needs. Hard to know with what you've said.

    yes indeed, video editing and then to youtube.

    I have access to a asus gaming laptop at the moment so its working ok.
    Purchase plans are pushed down the road, till i knew what i really need:rolleyes:

    You've still given little information on what you're doing, so I would air on the side of caution and say that perhaps this machine is too much. If you're doing a lot of rendering in full HD, or more then maybe. But if it's only every once in a while that this is going to happen, I'd have to question the sense in spending that much.

    What program do you use to edit? What do you use to shoot and if there's any more info it would help things!
