    Hi All,

Can anyone help me, I am trying to articulate in work a problem using a mathematical equation. I have the problem and the answer.. and I have a simplified version of the issue below:

    There 2 product types A & B.

    Stock count in the depot is A = 0 B = 0.

The depot is resupplied with A = 1

    Stock count in the depot is now A = 1 B = 0.

Problem: The delivery driver delivers A, but marks it on the paper work as B. So a B is minused from the stock count, and the A figure remains unchanged.

    Stock count in the depot is now A = 1 B = -1.

Answer: To correct these stocks an adjustment needs to be made. The adjust needs to be A -1 & B +1.

    Then the stocks are brought back to the correct values A = 0 - B = 0.

I was thinking it should be A=∑f(y) B=∑f(-y)

Where f is the product type and y is the delivery amount, but I could be wwaayy off here.

    Thanks in advance.

    Keith
