im looking a for recommendation on a cheap graphics card 2nd hand will be a better buy for me

it will have to be a low power card, will have to run no problems on a 300w PSU be quiet power 7

It will mainly used to play lego titles and kids smash and bash games on the grandparents pc i just built

so cheap reliable and low power consumption !!

An Nvidia GTX 750 1GB should do fine and should be around €70-80 second hand. There is a 750ti model which is more expensive. It's a pretty new model as well so it won't be that old.

    how would a r9 260 compare you think ?

That should be fine too and probably easier to get your hands on.

It's a good brand power supply so it should be fine for cards with around 150W power consumption or less.

R9 260 is probably your best bet here, especially for the games you mentioned
