Samsung Galaxy S5 Remote Control with Sky+ HD

I've just got a Galaxy S5 (G900F) and setup the Smart Remote app. It works fine on my TV (also a Samsung!), but it doesn't control the Sky+HD box. Has anyone successfully set this up for Sky+HD box? I can't find any way to get it to work.
