Incorrect re-test date printed on form

Excuse my ignorance, have never had a re-test so didn't know about the 3 week rule...

Had my NCT on May 26th - failed on emissions so had to get the exhaust looked at. They put a re-test by 27/06/2015 date on my form and actually circled it! Now I can't book a retest online and I presume if I call them it'll be the same thing...

    Any thoughts?

What do you mean three week rule?

Call them, advise what is on the form and they will organise a test slot for you.

For all the grief the NCT get, they are pretty decent when dealing with administration errors. Was organising NCT for my grandfather and went onto the emergency list, advising available times are afternoon or evening. They provided me a morning slot which didn't suit due to work, so they had to arrange another date for me.

I got a call advising me of the new date and was advised there would be no charge due to the previous error, and car went through without any charge.

So just give them a ring, either they will sort you out with a time( usually you can get seen pretty quickly when you go on the emergency list)

You have to book retest within 21 days. And it must be performed within 30 days, or it's a full test again.

Seriously?!! Why isn't this written anywhere on the actual report?!! All I can see is the retest by date!

Possibly retest is already booked by them and there (the circled date).
Ring the NCT number and they'll sort it out.
