Are there any standards out there for domestic lumen levels or are the regs just for commercial, industrial, nursing homes, health and safety etc
    Thanks

The closest to minimum lumen levels I have come across is the minimum required for fire safety and escape routes etc, so you may be correct in saying that the publicated levels are only for commercial applications.

Maybe a sparks could spread more light on the question. (Pardon the pun :) )

Yeah that's more of an electrical question C.

I don't think there's a domestic standard but there is for working environments.

I just fit bright high CRI LEDs and trailing edge dimmers (not professionally). The dimmers save a bittov lecky when they are dimmed...not hugely significant though because leds use naff all.

The SLL Lighting handbook is what you need. Drop me a PM with your email and I'll send something on.
