When I done it years ago, I found the one evening courses invaluable as they knew the test formats and how the questions are asked.

Have you any idea of the format or what type of questions they ask?

I rang the people who do the courses, they said they are only really useful for people who do the Dublin test.

There is a manual online that shows the format but I just wanted advice from people who have done the test as I think they will be able to give me some tips.

Not directly, no. But still have my hands dipped in slightly so to speak.
It's not a job that you will earn €1500 per week, if you put the hours in, work the weekends, doesn't have to be every weekend every time, you will earn a wage.

It all depends on what kind of wage you expect in my opinion.

Hi, I am preparing for the spsv test and am just wondering can anyone help me with the area test, I am not doing the mayo test but just picked it as an example, as in if I do the mayo test, do I need to know all the towns and villages in mayo. what maps do you use? I would rather physical maps rather than study google maps from my computer.

    any help welcome.

Isn't there a medical to pass to? They don't show you the answers you get wrong either.
