I know guys offer this service I the UK. Essential a couple leave their cars at home for the day, a guy calls up to check paint scratches, marks them on a card and quotes you a price to touch them up.
You agree a price and they call up and do both cars on the same day.

Does anyone know people running this service in Dublin and is it expensive.
    Thank you

I guess an important question would be what is the damage like? Pictures would help. I don't have any suggestions for you unfortunately!

Just standard bumper stuff. I'll just drop it into the usual guy so. Was just wondering if these guys operated here

I have seen these people at work around London but not in Ireland yet. Two work colleagues hired them.

There was very little structural damage to either car - one had been keyed and the other had shopping trolley rash - so there was practically no tapping or pulling out of dents. At first, I was a little sceptical because of having to cure primer, maybe filler, paint and perhaps clear lacquer in the outdoors, but of course they used heat lamps and hoods. This even kept the local Health and Safety guy quiet.

The finished result on the two cars I saw seemed fine. Perhaps a business opportunity(?)

Dentaway and chipsaway were 2 companies offering this service a few years ago. Not sure if their still going though.

    Edit...
dentsaway.ie is still running as is chips-away.ie

Seen a few of these smart repairs and they look good when done but it dulls a lot over time. Think its due to the excessive hardness used to cure the paint quicker as they are outside and not in a booth/oven.
Looks good when done and poor shortly after. I wouldn't use one on my car anyway.
