Is a brita filter tap worth the money? They cost about €350 and I am trying to decide whether to put one in my new kitchen to be installed next week. Do any of you have one? Would you recommend it? Do they work well? Bella

Water softening is a very different process and usually produces water that is considered undrinkable. Water softeners are used to prevent limescale in the pipework, not for drinking water.
