    Hi

Gonna clean the chain later and then I'll apply some lube. I specifically bought dry lube earlier.

Question is after applying the dry lube, should I wipe off any excess with a rag OR is there a need to do this at all with dry lube ?

I am not an expert, but I have never had to wipe excess dry lube off my chain.

    Yes.

Once you apply the lube just hold a rag gently on the chain and turn over the cranks a few times. Helps spread the lube and removes any excess.

You could try Cycleways. I don't know if they stock the dry lube, but I did pick up another Finish Line product there a couple of months ago.
