    Hi guys ,

I am applying for jobseekers allowance and I need a tenancy agreement from my landlord I presume for proof I am renting from the address I am living in .Only problem is I never signed one or was giving one from my landlord?I told my landlord I needed one and all he did was write a note saying * insert name * is currently renting a room from me at * insert address* at a cost of 50 euro a week with his name and number .Do you think this will work ?

Is such a note considered a tenancy agreement/lease even it's not signed by the tenants? Any info on this would be great. I'm a first time landlord and have written a letter similar to this for my tenants recently.
