    Hi all,

Anyone have a recommendation citrus solvents for the removal of tub glue from carbon rims; where to buy, what solvent is best, etc.?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Have never tried a citrus based solvent, used Goof Off last year. Read that a heat gun/hair dryer can be effective, might try that next time.

Nail varnish remover is supposed to help, but whatever I try it's always a complete PITA

Goof Off works better than acetone.

I got some strong acetone off a guy on Adverts earlier in the year.
A bit of elbow grease and several layers of glue came o ff with ease!

I used the hairdryer method, found it great, glue peeled off easily enough.
