Is there a time limit before retaking the driving test?

Hi. I failed my driving test on Saturday. I didn't have many marks but enough to fail. I reapplied straight away but I was just wondering if I rang and asked for a cancellation slot could I do the test again next week or is there a time limit before they can give you another date? Thanks.

I wouldn't think so. Nothing specific from the RSA right here about a time limit. They only reference the possibility of having the same test instructor again

AFAIK there is no time limit.

I think you can do it as soon as there's an opening. I rang up for a cancellation and did it less than 2 weeks later. It might have even been a week, I don't fully remember. I just remember emailing them to say I needed to do it for work, and they gave me a slot really quickly.
