Hello all, just having a spot of bother with my cursor. It seems to sporadically decide to disappear off to the top left corner and doesn't respond. There's no pattern to it,it just comes and goes.A reboot does fix the problem, but it's an ongoing issue,so it's not ideal.I'm running Windows 8 and know there other people have had an issue with their mice and Windows 8,so am I having a similar issue. If not,can anyone give advice?

Are you using a USB mouse, or the touch pad?

Upgrade the drivers for both, and clean the touchpad also.

if it the touch pad, it could be faulty, plug in a usb mouse an see if it does same, also when usb mouse is in, disable the mouse pad completely.
If using a usb mouse, check for dirt on the bottom where the red light is, happened me, had a spec of hair which was causing my mouse to have a mind of its own :)

Currently using a touchpad, but if this persists,I may keep an eye out for a mouse.I tried both the Samsung and Synaptics websites for drivers, but apparently I'm using a later version to what they offer,so no luck.
Admittedly,I never thought of cleaning the touchpad,so I'll try that and see if there's an improvement
