Hey, I know this has been asked a million times, I just need some clarification on it..

I've applied for a 3 day/ week job, currently on JSA where I get €200 / week for myself and boyfriend. I've read a couple of different threads that said you get to keep €20 each day and then 60% of the remaining money they take? So if the job is min wage, and I worked 8 hours a day that's 69.20 a day, 207.60 for the three days..so would I get to keep €60 automatically and then 40% of what remains? Sorry I'm just pretty confused about the whole thing.

    Thanks for any help!

    €207 for three days.
    €207 minus €60 = 147
    Get 60% of 147 = €88.
The €88 is your means this is the amount that you will lose from your social welfare payment.
Roughly your JSA will be €112 and you will keep all the money you get payed from your job.
