Hi, only recently moved to Ashbourne and I'm still unfamiliar with the place. Have friends coming out the weekend. All lads and they want to go to a good pub/club. Is there any around worth checking out? We are all late 20's some early 30"s. I haven't a clue where to bring them.
    Many thanks.

The pubs in Ashbourne all have their own unique style....but none really stand out.

Kellys is probably your best bet for a mixed crowd..

I would seriously consider Swans of Curragha as an alternative. Its generally jammers, has live music and is full of life.

The club scene is pretty much the residents ...not great.
