    It's a simple question. Individual (and his wife) importing several UK cars and driving them for min 1 year (they are driving 3 separate cars atm)

    They aren't regregistering their cars which is illegal.

    Nope but I pay my taxes so why shouldn't they? It's not one car, must be 6/7 at this stage.

    Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

    Yea revenue and customs.

    I presume they must have an address in the north or UK.

    Lady near me had her A6 removed not long ago. Car was in her husbands name who works in the UK but they had photos of her at the shops, school ect over a certain period. Came home one day after a walk and the car was being taken by customs.

    Even though it was registered, tax and insured on the UK it was being used here over the time allowed.

    Tried to save money and ended up losing the car and got a nice fine.

    AFAIK the car was on finance so their rightly screwed now.

    Went from a fairly new A6 to a battered primera , although it's the one with the reversing camera so it's kinda like the Audi lol

    They might have an address up North or work up there. You don't know.

    Best thing to do is ring customs and let them know your concerns. FYI best give more info in opening posts. I had not got a notion what you where talking about !

    I understood the op perfectly. They can't give too much info, they have to protect their identity.
