    Hi,

Whilst getting my septic tank certified. I was told the lip on the gully was slightly proud, explaining blockages. So opened up manhole and attempted to clean under pipe and made it worse. This seems to be a separate piece leading straight into tank. Should I be able to clean earth from beneath this? It seems like there is concrete under it and it's kept it place by earth??

Local plumber not interested in looking so I'd like a bit of advice before I go calling a drain specialist

    lads,

    sorry for silly question.

I live on the border of the county so most drain specialists are in the city.

Am i looking for a plumber or a builder to look at this?
