i know we have onboard movies and on demand stuff to watch but im wondering if i can watch my own content? i noticed in photos there is a USB slot infront of us at the screen, i guess i could watch stuff from a usb stick or even a phone via usb charger?

the plane is Airbus A330-200 if that helps more. 1hr 50mins after we are scheduled to land, our vegas flight is scheduled to take off. we are supposed to be doing immigration in philadelphia...enough time? kinda worried but im guessing half of the vegas flight will be full of transfer passengers like myself?

Generally the IFE will only allow you to charge your device.

BTW - are you not flying on US airways 723 out of Dublin? In which case immigration and customs is done in Dublin?

I've done immigration a couple of times at PHL. It's tight but doable. After you do immigration you have to go through TSA security again. Remember as well that airline arrival times are padded a bit, so you may find yourself arriving earlier.

we take off at 11:35am monday 22nd june.

ah well, ill just have to put game of thrones onto my phone rather than an usb stick to watch. hopefully that usb slot at the tv charges my phone!

we were supposed to be doing immigration in dunlin airport, they said that when we booked. but now its philadelphia apparently when my brother was collecting the tickets.

the info i have of the plane is in the OP, i couldnt answer if its that us airways plane or not unfortunatly. im sure all will be fine and im just worrying over nothing.

Looking at it...you should be pre-clearing in Dublin as the plane arrives in to Terminal A which is domestic. It also departs from the US part of Dublin Airport. You're flying on US AIR/AA plane which is owned by BA. If it's the a330 from US AIR...you can charge the devices but not play your own media.

thanks for the info. i have an app called "seat guru" but it wasnt helpful for much more than a seat map. maybe my brother is mistaken then about immigration!

to be honest, just being able to charge my phone as in keep it operational with battery killing games will keep me happy throughout the journey  thanks!
