Just said I'd mention it here. I am on the Earphone Solutions mailing list. Anyway, they've a trade in programme running which gives $100 off all earphones over $499, and $50 off models over $199. The catch is that you need to post your old headphones back to them.

I've bought all my Shures from them down the years and would recommend them.

Shure distribution UK do this as well and don't charge return postage.

Just sent back a snapped 4yo pair of SRH440s and got some 840s in return for 70£ ex vat (I get the impression the price is negotiable).

This seems to be a Shure policy, however I would prefer that they would be able to send out a copy of the tiny bit of plastic that snapped in the first place..

Having said that I've emailed Shure UK there to see if they'll do a trade on on my 535s as I'd love the 846's. If they will, that's my week made!!!

They should do - best on the phone tho - plus they seem to have some wiggle room for lowering the price..
