How best to search for a new job?!

I have just left my job after 8 years and so am a bit rusty at job hunting! I have made contact with some employment agencies in the last few days. I have looked in the local papers and on a few different websites, irishjobs.ie etc. I will ring the employment agencies in the coming days to talk to them and keep looking online... but I don't see much so far! Does anyone have any suggestions for me - or are there any particularly good websites for jobs? It is office administration/PA type work I am looking for but part time, in Galway city.

    Thanks!

If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend setting up an account on LinkedIn. Put your CV up there and then connect with friends, former colleagues, family etc... You never know someone may know about a job that might suit you and help you out.
