Driving tester sick

    Hi guys,
I was due to sit my driving test at 9.05 this morning, but received a voicemail message at 8.45 that my test is cancelled due to the tester being sick:mad:

I have been ringing back the number that called me (+3539625800) pretty much constantly since they left the voicemail, but it keeps saying there are no agents available.

Is there another number I can ring to get speaking to someone? I urgently need a full licence, and will more than likely miss out on a dream job if I do not get to sit my test very soon.

On the voicemail they said that I am being put on a priority list. With this is mind, roughly how long do you think it will be for me to get another test date? It's for the Carrick on Shannon centre.

Bad luck, but these things happen.
Ring either of these numbers and explain your situation.

    1890 40 60 40 or 09625000

I have found them to be very helpful.
Tell them you're willing to take a cancellation in a nearby test centre too - that will hurry it up. You won't have to pay again.
    Good luck with the test.

Finally got through after a morning of ringing.

They were extremely accommodating and are fitting me in tomorrow afternoon! :D

Passed my test - first time! :D

I had convinced myself that I'd failed, it felt like I had never driven so badly! Traffic was soooo bad, there was an arctic lorry broken down on a mini roundabout on the main road, there was a cyclist accident just beside the test centre, and the local Tidy Towns committee had half the town cordoned off for cleaning and repair work..but I pulled through and passed with 6 mark 2s :)
