Any particular reason? Paint? Charter route? Can't imagine they would keep 787's to fill a tech slot

That's it exactly! Will operate a flight too so there'll be plenty of chances for photographers to get a few arriving & departure shots instead of it just sitting idle on the ramp.

Thomson will be bringing one of their B787 Dreamliners to Dublin on 17th June for a media event to publicize their new routes to Cancun & Montego Bay in Summer 2016. It will operate a local demonstration flight TOM8002, departing at 11:30 and returning at 12:45.

Wasn't it reported that prices and other details would be revealed this month? I'll assume the visit will coincide with the big reveal.

It's in to show off the product to travel agents and travel reports etc as there is a show on somewhere, so I assume there will be announcements on prices at the show etc

    Very similar.

Apart from them being two different countries at different sides of the Atlantic, with different cuisines, histories etc ;)

Keep in mind the question: Is a holiday to Mexico anything like Spain. There will obviously be culture differences etc, thats not what I'm asking

5 times longer flight, Mexican food versus sausage and chips or egg and chips, similar in some ways different in other ways. Spain would be driven by the European market and wants Mexico by the American wants.
