Wondering if anyone has tried these cheap units you fill with ice and plug in on a tractor
I usually am only driving a few hours between milking but hard in hot weather with windows open and hot air blowing in on me.
Amazon have smaller ones for under 50 euro
    Any experience's

Utter waste of money, total chocolate fireguard, not nearly enough latent heat in the ice to last anything more than 10mins cooling a full cab.

try stick in a fan into the cab. a/c wont be much use unless the cab is almost airtight. the whole frame and glass will aid the heating process. the breeze from the fan might help?
Bord na mona installed ac on their old bog tractors back in the day, ford 4000's and the like - its not cheap.

+1 with the fan. The ice block coolers are a waste of time and money.

drink lots of water too, you will dehydrate faster making you sleepy later in the day.

I was thinking something like the one in the above link.
I can put up with it but cab is like a glasshouse in this weather not that I'm complaining still better than rain
Working with doars open is some help but not always possible
The cold air in the fan seems to blow hot air probably from the heat of the engine
Proper ac kits are a few grand I'd rather change tractor for one with ac.
On that note does any smaller tractors have air conditioning from 80 to 100hp
