Hi I got a car on HP i got it in 2011 for €22000 it had 40.000k on it

I then could not pay for it any more now the bank
told me I miss my payments so they will take the car back so moved house so they could not find me
    I still €21000
Its now 2015 the market value of the car is £9000
and the car has 170000k on it
I'm not going to give it back they can not find me.
Do you think if I contact them and offer them €1000 they will right off the debt and then the car will be legally mine other way's they will get nathing and I will keep the car until its running in to the ground because it's still mine until they take it back I'm not disgorging that the car is there pretty but I'm not just going to give it back
I have already very bad credit history

I doubt it...you still owe them 21000 whatever the car is now worth.

It seems like to made two or three payments and then stopped. You should have just handed it back. You would have signed a contract at the time which stated that you do not own the car until final payment is made.

You should probably edit the post to be honest as you're openly admitting intentionally defrauding the bank. You haven't a leg to stand on here.

They will find the car and just take it away, you will still owe the full amount and if you refuse to pay that you will be taken to court. After that it gets very messy for you.

Are you or the car still based in Ireland? If not then I reckon they probably won't be able to find you.

Tell that that your living in the car and that its your Principle Private Residence and you'll be fine, you won't have to pay a penny back:rolleyes:

Oh way to go you deserve it! Can't believe you'd come on anywhere looking for advice on how to keep a car that isn't yours!

I hippie they find you and drive you into the ground in court.
I'd help too if i could.

Obviously you owe them all the money, and obviously they are going to get it. Why would they settle for 1k euro? You owe them 21k, you can't simply make that disappear. I'm not entirely sure if this thread is a pIss take or what? Why would you get a car on hp if you weren't able to pay it back. Alright if circumstances change a year or two into the agreement, but paying back only 1k over 4 years is taking the micky?!! No wonder they're after you. Regardless where you move to, you will be tracked down. Go into them and try to come to some sort of a payment plan or explain your situation at least. See what they can do for you, hiding isn't going to make it all go away.

I'm not sure how much of the OP I believe. What bank would approve a HP agreement for someone and not realise they couldn't afford more than two or three payments. Maybe they did that in 2005 but by 2011 surely they'd cut down on it.

Sounds like the OP conned them from the start with sole intention of stealing the car. If someone genuinely realised they made a mistake and couldn't afford the car that soon after getting it, they'd negotiate its return as soon as possible to minimise their debt and buy a cheaper car instead of going through the trouble of moving house just to keep it and constantly having to look over their shoulder.

OP, good luck ever getting any loan from a bank again in the future.

Noccy he's looking for a way not to pay it.
Seems to me he never had an intention to at all.

When he says he has bad credit it must mean it's not his first either!

I dunno, my conscience would have eaten away at me long ago if it was me (which it wouldn't l, because I'd never got a car on hp, no matter what), looks like some people are ruthless and don't give a shyte whatsoever.

    T'fcuk with em so!
