I have 5 divisions in a paddock system, with half of the land in meadow, however I am getting 14 days out of paddock system.

Is this normal at this time of year

I spread nitrogen tonight on a 6 paddock system

Can I move cattle to paddock where cattle are tomorrow after spreading fertiliser

When will Nitrogen kick in when will grass grow

There's no hassle letting cattle out on freshly bagged fields.the nitrogen will kick in as soon as it gets the moisture to let it into the plant. The dew at night should be enough with the spill that's coming Wednesday

Are you rotating between 5 or 6 paddocks? They recommend 6 as the minimum. I take it they get 3 days in each? What height is the grass they're going into and what's the height when they're finished? Aim is 10-12cm pre-grazing and 4cm post grazing. For the turn around time your talking about I take it your using plenty N?

I only have 5 at moment and am very tight on grass started putting on fertiliser yesterday so hope that will boost it only getting 2 days out of paddocks and 3 out of one
