    Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone could help me with the translation of a surname.
I want to address something to a family, would the correct translation of
the Egan family be 'Muintir Mac Aogáin' or something else in place of 'Mac'?
    Thanks for any help :)

Thanks a million. I actually had it as that first and edited it to 'Mac.' Should have more faith in myself!:)
