Feeding the Ducks...

    Hi All,

Can anyone tell me a good place for me to bring my 18 month old daughter to feed some ducks?

Obviously we've been to the park which is actually really nice and she loves the swings etc but there are only swans there which she's kinda scared of (and i am too if the truth be known!)

We're looking for somewhere with just ducks which she could look at and feed.

Does Oak Park have any for example? Or are we talking pet farm somewhere?

    Many Thanks in advance.

River in Bagenalstown slways has a ton. They will actually come up the bank towards ya.

Altamont maybe? Ducks and swans about there. Plus they have a peacock and pea hen.

    Thanks for those suggestions guys,

i'll try Bagenalstown first, is it just at the leiglinbridge side? Near the turn off for Aldi?
Would definitely be handier for me to go there on a regular basis.

Altamont gardens is also on my list of things to see, that sounds lovely and thanks for the suggestion.

    Thanks again :-)

If I'm not mistaken Altmont has up signs saying don't feed the wildlife.

A bit off topic but Altamount is absolutely amazing. Especially this time of the year. Do the full walk down to the river too.
