Zinio subscriptions are much cheaper than buying magazines in shops. The apps for phones are very good now too and comfortable to read on. They make good gifts too, might work for father's day for someone whose dad has a tablet. Valid until midnight on the 14th.

    Use code ZINIO4U

I don't know about the Android app, if it isn't letting you enter the code you could always buy your sub via your internet browser on the phone/tab though and your magazine will be delivered to the app.

    These are the only t&c
*Offer valid until 6/14/2015 11:59PM EST on regular priced subscriptions exclusively on Zinio website. Offer not valid on single issue purchases and cannot be used on with PayPal transactions or be combined with any other coupons, discounts or offers. Offer not valid on selected magazines. Please enter promotional code ZINIO4U at checkout

I used use Zinio, but I find Readly better value - amazing value actually for someone who reads a few magazines a month.

For a real bargain - join your local library.

Many of them give you free access to Zinio mags. I'm in DLR (home of the Lexicon !) and they have about 70 mags available - you can also get access to the full version of a selection of newspapers via a different app.

So unfair that this service isn't nationwide. In galway we don't even have ebooks via the library service.

It's free with all Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown Libraries and in the Fingal area (i think). Truly a fantastic service, I read half a dozen magazines for free as well as pretty much any newspaper and book I want. We are in Shankill Library.

Well if ya ever feel like sharing your library card number I am first in the queue. I wish they'd introduce that over here. :)

This is brilliant. It does work in the Fingal area. I'm in Swords and I just signed in.

Is there a limit to the amount of magazines you can have in your Zinio from the library at a time? I just clicked 5 and it added them to my tablet happily enough. Do they expire after a set period of time. Great service though, even if they expire.

You can have as many as you like, there is no expiry, I keep loads in mine for reading during times I have to wait somewhere. The is an expiry on ebooks but that's with another provider (also free)

Here's the link to Fingal libraries. The app for the books is Overdrive. I used it a couple of years ago. It was a bit clunky then. Probably better now.
