Quiet places to study

I'm at the tail end of a part time masters at the moment and I have to write a dissertation over the summer. I generally prefer to use the college library as home isn't the best environment for me, but it's only open during working hours over the summer (which is just great for part time students!).

Does anyone know of any quiet places open during evenings and weekends? I've tried coffee shops but they're usually busy and playing music. Are any college libraries open?

    Thanks
