Will the examiner check to see if you are accompanied to the test centre by a driver with a full license?

No, they won't care who accompanied you or how you arrived

Great. The daughter was worrying because her OH cannot get off work to go with her, and both the text and the email stressed that she must be accompanied.

I'm basing that off seeing a few threads here in the past saying the same thing now, but I'd assume it's fine

They don't check to see how you got there, but she still can't drive unaccompanied, whether she is driving to her test or anywhere else.
