Can i change story in court?

    I know no legal advise is aloud to be posted but I am asking from personal experience has anybody ever changed their story in court?
    I am in court on Monday over possesion of cannibis, the weed was not mine, In court if I plead guilty to possesion but then say that it was not mine it was the driver of the cars would this help my case? I took the weed on the night for the sake of the driver and handed it over to the guard, it was such a small amount it wouldn't even have a street value.
    can anybody help me please?
