    Hi.

I recently had a problem with my toilet where the float ball snapped off its lever. I had to replace the lever with a new part which involved shutting off the water to the toilet. I probably went to far and shut off the main water to the house and the 3 valves in the hot press. I made sure no water was flowing and competed the job with no issues.

I turned on all the valves and check I had water upstairs and downstairs. I had hot and cold water in kitchen and bathroom (Bath) but when taking a shower later in our ensuite I noticed the water was piping hot, no cold water.
    It's a Gainsborourgh PS12000 powered shower.

Any ideas on what may be wrong?
I think it may be an air lock but how do I go about clearing it?

    Thanks
    Wayne

If the shower is plumbed correctly then the cold water has it's own supply from the tank in the attic and this should its own valve. It's possible you forget to turn this one back on.
It's also possible that you turned the valve back on but inside of the valve is broken and stuck shut

    Thanks for the reply,

I didn't shut off any valves in the attic just the ones in the hot press, I'm pretty sure they are all fully open now. Is it not the same input for the bath and shower?

If it is plumbed correctly (it may not be) then it'll have its own half inch pipe
