samusung tv remote working only 1 meter from tv

    -is the Tv IR sensor gone ?

    -i tried to disconnect all devices around tv
    -I tried to remove remote batteries
    (I have new batteries)

    So did you replace the batteries or not? It is not clear from your post.

    Yes I tried 2 different pairs of new batteries.

    Could try giving the ir on controller and receiver a wipe to ensure they are clear of dust.

    I tried to clear the dust, the remote is brand new... google is saying the TV IR sensor is gone.

    Google could tell you anything, was it a cheap Chinese remote you bought?

    Look at the ir emitter on the remote through the camera on a phone. You should see it flashing when you press a button. It won't work with every camera phone but almost all of them.

    Could be IR interference , is it an LCD TV?

    Look it up there's loads of info out there

    You are are right, it is LCD interference, i tried to cover sensors with electrical tape but it didn´t help.
    (I can´t turn off dynamic contrast)
    So I will just use the remote from 1 meter...
