Dublin Student With No Experience

Hi, all. I'm sure this kind of thing is posted here quite a bit, but here goes. I'm a 19 year old student living near Swords, and I'm looking for work over the summer (or even over the year, since I'm looking at deferring the next year of my degree). I'm not picky about the job, but the issue is that I have pretty much no experience. Due to this, I'm not sure where to start or even if I have a chance at getting something. What should I doing? Any advice would be strongly appreciated.

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago. Signed up with job agency and a week later they have me working in a factory with zero experience. Not great money but it will do me for the summer and I am getting 40 hours a week. So I think you should have a look at job agencies in your area and sign up to them.

Thanks, I hadn't considered looking at jobs agencies. If I could get somewhere with that many hours it'd be great, since really what I want is to be able to rent a place.

Definitely have a look. There are plenty around the city and the one I deal with is based in Inchicore.

Do you have a link in to the job agency ?
