I got an email this morning from sportpursuit.com about offers on Rivelo shorts - they seem like good value.
    Has anyone tried these shorts..

They arrived yesterday, tried them out today.

    I'm 5'10 with 33" waist & 32"inside step.

From the measurement guide on the site I went for a large.

Personally, I feel they are slightly big for me - but the medium would probably be too small! So over all a reasonable fit.

The look good, nice details - I like the retro look of them.

I had them on for a 38k medium intensity training spin and my feelings are, although they are a nice bib, I feel the fabric lacked..... support... if you know what I mean? I've other shorts that feel like they are more supportive...

The chamois in my view was a little shallow and soft for my liking - the support issue again!

Over all, a good short, relaxed fit.

    My favorite shorts are:
    Castelli Free Aero Race Bib
    Club bibs - VeloTec
    Rivelo Honster
    Briko

Bought one of their Langcliffe waterproof jackets from sportpursuit - arrived today. First impressions
    - quality build and 'feel' to it. Very nice colours.
    - good fit. I ordered what seemed the right size for me, and it is.
    - slightly rubbbery feel to the jacket, which makes me think it'll keep the rain out, but the sweat in...time will tell
    - good big back vents to let the heat out
    - neat little front left pocket for your house keys
    - you'd need a decent size jersey pocket to fit it into
    - there's a great big back pocket (just the one), but there's no drain-hole in it; I can easily see it filling with rain.
    - it'd be nice if it folded up into its own pocket...but to keep it really small you need a couple of rubber bands or similar.

No info yet on the important stuff - keeping the rain out while letting the sweat out. But will update.

So, wore the Langcliffe yesterday in a bit of rain, a bit of snow, a bit of sleet, a bit of hail...oh, and some sunshine. Underneath was a SS Gabba, a pair of sugoi armwarmers, and a thin merino (and a buff). Yes, that's 3 layers, but it was cold yesterday morning 8-)

Verdict: water beaded up nicely, as you'd expect from a brand new jacket. Rain etc stayed out - no issues at all. When working hard, did certainly build up some internal dampness - when took the jacket off at the coffee stop, the sleeves were clammy. Opening the zip (and the Gabba zip) certainly helps. When not working too hard, not noticeable dampness.

    So
    - nice jacket
    - decent price on sportpursuit
    - waterproof
    - reasonably breathable, but no miracle
    Recommended.
