Window openings and regs question?

Looking at getting new upvc windows. Bedroom windows are 100cm wide x 120cm long. To fit in with regulations what width would the openable part of the window have to be?

With current regs is it possible in a window this size to have it split with a small window on top and larger one on the bottom in the kids rooms?

    0.33 Sq. M opening area.
450mm box needs to fit out.
Minimum and maximum dimensions from floor level to opening section as set out in TGD Part B.

Thank you I really appreciate it. I had thought as much but assumed I had got it wrong. Window guy says 640mm for openable window and 360mm for the non opening section which looks terrible.

Provided the opening is above 800mm above floor level, you could make them as one full opening sash with no fixed part ?

They will be correct for the regs, more thermally efficient and cost less !
