Hi, my accountant filedy tax return (form 11) last week and I am due a refund. I got a letter from revenue on Monday confirming the overpayment and my bank details. All was in order so just wondering how long it is taking to process a refund at present. Thanks very much!

It depends the letter you got is probably a self assessment form. This a pro forma confirmation of the details that your accountant submitted and Revenue may subject your claim to manual checking, or hold it and request an audit. The answer is somewhere between a week and six months. Liase with your accountant to follow up with Revenue.
