    Hi,

I have recently accidentally broken the latch on my friends car key that you can use to hang other keys on it via a metal circle. The car key has buttons on it which allows the car to be locked and unlocked with the push of a button. It is similar to the picture.

Can anyone tell me where I can get it replaced/fixed?

    Thanks in advance

What car is it, that looks like a Honda key.

You're saying part of the key body is broken yeah?

A small bit of black sugru and remold it.

    sugru.com

Be a lot cheaper than a new key.

If someone broke my key I wouldn't be happy with that!

Sorry, missed the part about being his friends key!

In that case, really depends on the key/car/manufacturer as to whether you can buy a blank key and just move over the electronics and key or whether you need to get one made.

Out of curiosity, how did you break it?
