Hi everyone,

I'm trying to compile a list of female jazz musicians and singers within the Irish jazz scene throughout it's history so from the 20s right up to today. I know Ottilie Patterson was a brilliant N.Irish singer and Colette Cassidy seems to be a regular at JJ's but I'm sure there's plenty more out there. It's for research so any names will be greatly apappreciated

The only one that springs to mind at present is Honor Heffernan.

Mary Coughlan, is mainly blues, but would on occasion come under the "jazz umbrella".
