Hi, my driver side door lock is broken, I think someone tried to break into it but the cylinder is completely loose, so I have to lock/unlock the door from the passenger side, if I left my doors unlocked would I get away with it on the nct? or will he notice if he tries to lock it when he's finished?

They might. Leave door unlocked and hope for the best.

they don't test the locks (at least they never did with mine cause I have a similar issue). but he needs to be able to open/close the doors from the inside/outside without a problem.
So just leave the car unlocked
