suckler - mastitis. How to soften dug

    well,

    strongest calf decided not to suck a teat, must have been dirty or something..

    fast forward and now quarter is hard with mastitas. have drawn all i can of it but still more hard gunk left.

    any remidies to speed up softening the gunk.

    have given her tubes and penicillin but its slow to break down.

    Get some golden udder or similar cream from coop and rub it in, it will help soften the udder. We use vaccadyne from osmonds seems to work well. Keep stripping out the quarter as well
