10 June Dublin aerospace Jammed with planes heading out over the Irish sea

    From about 4am and is on going at 06.15am the sky over Dublin is jammed with aircraft heading out over the Irish sea. Some are real close together. Never seen so many aircraft at a high level in the sky. Is this normal?

    Not quite that busy normally, must have been a few tracks funnelling in through Liffy and Dexen this morning.

    Still an impressive amount of contrails

    Just because you don't see contrails does not mean there are no aircraft.

    Correct but it's not th same flow and volume each day, that will be dependent on the position of the NATs and the number of tracks.
