Failing a Module

Hi, So basically I haven't gotten the best of grades in one particular module, and the module was all CAs and Labworks. I was wondering if I fail the module would there be somekind of retest or would I have to repeat the module next year? A classmate told me that there would be some kind of retest but I'm not entirely…
